Some two-bit home invaders get way more than they bargained for when they break into a blind Iraq War veteran’s Detroit home in this suspense thriller.

Unfortunately the scares that are SO EFFECTIVE in the super intense trailer devolve after a few minutes into an increasingly tedious – and eventually ridiculous – bout of torture porn in which none of the one-dimensional characters are likeable.

In retrospect, it makes sense, since director Fede Alvarez and star Jane Levy also teamed up in the much more interesting, gore-filled Evil Dead. Don’t breathe? No. Don’t watch.
