While sorely lacking the action and slick pace of its predecessors, this prelude to the big finale to the successful Hunger Games trilogy does manage to entertain and push the story along to what looks to be a much more satisfying Part 2. Thankfully, Elizabeth Banks’ Effie serves up much needed comic relief amidst Katniss’ annoyingly incessant pouty face over the fate of Peeta.
