The Reel Review
Jessica Chastain stars in this Guillermo Del Toro creepfest about a couple of young girls who, after being stranded in a remote cabin long enough to become feral, are rescued and returned to civilization – along with the dark entity that had protected them. The film has some truly great, scary moments and could have been a real winner except for the contrived CGI-laden ending, which ruins an otherwise really well done film.
