The Reel Review
Candice Bergen, Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton and Mary Steenburgen star in this rom-com about four women in their sixties, each stuck in her own unique sexual slump, who get a renewed spark after reading the titilating romance novel 50 Shades of Grey in their monthly book club. The contrived story has one dimensional characters, cheesy dialogue, and super corny double entendres. But for its target audience of older women in the mood to escape with some mindless fluff, the four actresses make the contrived material at least tolerable and the ending is actually really sweet.
