The Reel Review

B+

At first, this looks to be an annoyingly pedestrian movie about a teenage girl forced to relive a day repeatedly, a la Groundhog Day, until she makes better life choices to save the life of a bullied classmate. But Zoey Deutch (daughter of Back to The Future’s Lea Thompson) delivers a standout performance, peeling back the onion into the motives behind bullying behavior, resulting in an entertaining and surprisingly fresh, thought-provoking film about the power of one person to positively impact the lives of others.
