The Reel Review
This installment in the long-running James Bond franchise delivers everything we have come to expect from the 007 films over the years: lots of over-the-top action, an evil villain, sexy Bond girls and exotic locales. Where Spectre is a little different is its inclusion of subtle homages to past Bond films (a cute touch), the incorporation of office politics into the storyline, and more prominent roles for characters Q and Moneypenny. That said, at two-and-a-half hours, the film drags on in the second half and could have used some tighter editing. Still, an entertaining night at the movies.
