The Reel Review
This is, without a doubt, one of the best Disney films in the modern era. What starts out as a classic animated story of a princess about to marry her true love turns upside down when the Evil Queen casts her out of the animated fantasy world of Andalasia and into modern day New York.
A delight for kids and adults alike, the predictable story is clever, extremely funny, sweet and chocked full of Oscar-nominated songs. As Giselle, Amy Adams is absolutely enchanting, capturing the animated princess’ adorable mannerisms and naivety as she eventually discovers what true love is.
